Frederick Stevenson has been charged in connection to the fatal shooting of District Heights resident Daryl McCall, 30, last month in Oxon Hill.

McCall was found at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway after he allegedly got into an altercation with Stevenson.

According to a spokesperson from the Prince George's County Police Department, first responders found McCall in a parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

They treated him at the scene, but he succumbed to his injuries.

A second person was also found shot and was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, investigators released surveillance video of Stevenson taken that night, where he can be seen wearing a dark-colored hat, blue and white jacket, jeans and white sneakers.

The video was taken outside in the location where the shooting occurred shortly before the murder.

Stevenson was charged with first- and second-degree murder, as well as other offenses. He's being held in Washington, DC pending his extradition back to Prince George's County.
